DÍA INTERNACIONAL DE LA MUJER TRABAJADORA

8th March.- INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

As you already know, on 8th March it is celebrated all over the World International Women’s Day. It is a very important date and this year it is celebrated a century since it started to beig commemorated. As we explained in class, we are going to give you some instruction to work on a project:

1. The oral presentations will be a POWER Point or any other kind of presentation.
2. It will be pair work.
3. It has to deal with the following aspects:

·       Short history of the celebration

·       When did it begin to be celebrated?

·       What does it remember?

·       What did women ask for?

·       How is it celebrated?

·       Images: roles of women and men: link  qualities of men and women to products used in advertising

·       Women through history

The work has to be done in English and will be presented to the rest of the class next Thursday, 24th March.
